Meet team member, Victor Hanrahan! Victor has been a part of the Holmes Production team since 2016. He handles the bindery and finishing of our production pieces and is the last step in the process of preparing a project for delivery.
We sat down with Vic and asked him a few questions about his role here at Holmes and the team. Here’s what he had to say:
What does a “typical day” look like for you at the office?
Man, this is hard to say. It really depends on the workflow. But you can normally expect to see me doing a lot of production cutting on most days. You can actually check out an example of my work with this video:
What do you add to Holmes Marketing that sets us apart as a company?
I am very team oriented and work well with others.
What is the biggest lesson you have learned since working at Holmes?
Here at Holmes we really value and emphasize the importance of time management and organization. I think as a result I have gotten a lot better at planning out my days and my workload. This has also helped me to become more organized in my personal life as well.
What skills have you gained/perfected while at Holmes?
I would say I have become quite skillful in wide format. As more of our customers see the value in setting their organizations apart with creative signage, I believe this is a skill I will continue to frequently use.
What is something you would still like to learn while at Holmes?
I would still like to learn more about the products and services we offer – including the ones I am not involved with. I believe this will help me to have a better understanding of how the pieces I create in production tie into the whole picture of a marketing campaign or strategy.
What is your favorite memory to date at Holmes?
There’s too many to just pick one!
Where is one area of your job you have noticed needs improvement and how are you working toward improving it daily?
Well I am currently cross-training to learn how to use all of our printers with Matthew and Brian. So I would say I definitely need to keep moving toward mastering them all with everything they can do.
From the whole team at Holmes: Thank you Vic, for your constant willingness to learn and improve your skills!
